elcome to Prism Online, the Web version of San Francisco State University's monthly, student run magazine. Taking a successful print publication and putting it on the Web isn't, and shouldn't be, an easy task. Like most every other publication moving onto the Web, Prism Online is an experiment. The only way to test an experiment is to go ahead and do it. What you have before you is our first attempt. Prism will change and evolve over time as new ideas are tried and old ones discarded.
Our first issue is focused on Mexico and Central America. The second issue (in November) will look at the Pacific Rim. In December we'll show you one night in San Francisco, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
We can talk until we're blue in the face about what works and what doesn't. The only way we'll really know is if we hear from you. Send your comments to: prism@sfsu.edu.
