"I don't understand why everyone always ignores me," said 16-year-old BAMMA participant Bryant Tan of Lowell High School. Maybe it's because he likes to talk so much that some of the things he says don't make sense.
His worst high school experience was not making the varsity volleyball team at Lowell because "like many other people in the world, I lost out to a suck-up." This allowed him to spend his free time writing instead of playing volleyball, his favorite sport.
"I want to be an astronaut or the president," said Tan jokingly."But I can't, so I'll be a journalist."
