"Oooh! Look at that chocolate," exclaims Sienna Dalton every time she sees a male that looks good. Dalton is a 15-year-old bi-racial teen, of Mexican and Black parents. She attends Lowell High school in San Francisco and will be a junior in the fall. At her Lowell she is actively involved in the Black Student Union where she is also the club's historian.
On Sept. 22, 1995, her mother passed away from cervical cancer. This affected her a lot because they were extremely close. "I try not to think about it, that's the only way I can handle it," Dalton said. She now lives with her sister and father in San Francisco.
