Responding to a recommendation to evict Anne, a student who reported she was raped in her dorm room, a student group will picket Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in front of Mary Ward Hall.
The picket will take place before Melissa Purcell, director of Housing and Residential Services, decides whether to evict Anne at a 4 p.m. appeals hearing.
The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action By Any Means Necessary will demand that Melinda "Cookie" O'Brien, associate director of Housing and Residential Services, reverse her recommendation to evict Anne or be fired.
The deadline to submit applications for the two-year CSU Student Trustee position has been extended from March 4 to March 12.
