Health tour is coming

The Collegiate Health and Fitness Tour is coming to SF State beginning today through Thursday. Held in front of the Cesar Chavez Student Center, the tour's purpose is to teach students that there are healthy physical alternatives to drinking and using drugs.

Educational booths will provide information on HIV prevention, drugs, skin cancer, stress management, time management and exercise.

The tour will also feature "natural high events," including an artificial climbing wall, human bowling, a Velcro fly wall, a baseball speed pitch contest and a golf driving range.

Prizes will also be given out, including hats, T-shirts, sunglasses and a grand prize of a Jeep Wrangler or an Eagle Talon.

Sponsored by CEASE (Creating Empowerment through Alcohol and Substance Abuse Education) and PEER Educators of Student Affairs, the event will take place each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call Michael Ritter at 338-1203.
