In the above referenced article under 5 p.m., you state that I asked victim Elliott if it was "OK with her" that Archie had been removed from campus. I did not ask her that. You also stated that Elliott replied that "it was not her decision." She did not say that to me. I refer you to the copy of my supplemental report...
The language in this article was either an intentional tactic to mislead your readers, or the inexcusable result of the failure to read the very report you requested a copy of. I request you immediately publish the corrections necessary to insure your readership is accurately informed.
The information refereed to by Lt. McLain was obtained through an interview with Lecturer Virginia Elliott.
In the police report, McLain wrote that he had advised Elliott that Archie was on parole and would be taken into custody by his parole agent.
