The SF State women's basketball team will play a crucial game against host Chico State this Friday. The last time the Gators met Chico, the Wildcats defeated SF State 81-71. If the Gators beat Chico on Friday, the team will be tied for the last playoff spot in the Northern California Athletic Conference with five interconference games to play. The Gators will end the weekend with a game against Humboldt State on Saturday. Both games will begin at 6 p.m. in the main gym.
Junior Center Sara McNulty, who scored a career-high 24 points and seven rebounds in the Gators' 75-72 victory over Sonoma State last Saturday, was named NCAC Woman's Basketball Player of the Week. McNulty averages 10.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
