The Golden Gater staff would like to welcome everyone to SF State for the Fall semester of 1995.
The Golden Gater is a part of your campus community. It is a student run newspaper, a laboratory for journalism students at SF State. While the objective of the staff is to produce a high quality newspaper each Tuesday and Thurdsday, it cannot be done without active interaction with the SF State community.
It is neither realistic nor possible for the Golden Gater staff to know everything about this community. While the staff is dedicated to producing stories and photographs that are fair, objective, complete, and of interest to the community, they need your feedback and ideas for stories through letters, faxes, e-mail, and phone calls to learn ways to do a better job in producing this newspaper.
As the semester moves along, please feel free to communicate with us. Let us know if you think we are missing an important story or what you think we can do to improve the Golden Gater. Your ideas and opinions will help the Golden Gater become a truly interactive campus newspaper.
