Not the first time

July 19, 1994 -- SF student Petrel Eugene W. Chan was struck by a 4X4 pickup truck and killed in a hit and run accident.

Oct. 18, 1994 -- A speeding car lost control and ran into a bus stop on 19th Ave., injuring 16 people. Eleven of those people were SF State students. Fourteen people were hospitalized.

Oct. 19, 1994 -- A four-car accident left one person injured.

Dec. 9, 1994 -- A speeding car lost control and ran into a truck. Three people needed medical attention, and one person was sent to the hospital.
