Two SF State students were held up at gunpoint Oct. 9 as they were walking back to their car after class and had approximately $500 in cash and jewelry stolen from them.
According to the San Francisco Police Department report, the incident occurred on the 900 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard at 9:20 p.m.
As the two women neared their car, two men approached them, calling out, "Hey, what's up?" One of the suspects then pulled out a small silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded the students' money and jewelry, shouting that if they didn't give it to him, he would shoot their "f...ing brains out."
The men took various pieces of jewelry and a book bag containing a tape recorder, a wallet and school books.
After ordering the two students to get into their vehicle, the men left in a nearby car. According to police, neither victim could identify the vehicle.
Once the suspects were out of sight, the two women ran to a residence on Junipero Serra and called 911.
The University Police Department was first on the scene, but turned the case over to the SFPD.
A spokesperson at SFPD said an officer hasn't been assigned to the case and no suspects have been found.
UPD did not want to comment on the case. The victims were not available.
According to the police records, neither victim was injured and there were no witnesses to the crime.
