What are you angry about

White America never ceases to amaze me. There are millions of angry white people upset at the jury's decision in the O.J. Simpson trial. As a result, many white people have shown African Americans how truly racist they are.

It's interesting that most white Americans, according to a survey done before the trial, felt that O.J. was guilty of all charges. How ironic. A few years ago, when a black man named Rodney King was nearly beaten to death on video by more than five white cops, black people knew the white cops were going to be given some serious time in prison.

But the white judiciary system let the cops go. So a couple of the cops received two years in prison, that was merely a slap on the wrist. Black people felt that these white cops were guilty, regardless of the events prior to the beating. No human being deserved such a beating.

When the jury in the King trial made its decision, I can remember hearing a whole lot of white people telling blacks that they didn't know all the facts, saying poor, "emotional" black people couldn't make a rational decision, even though we all saw the videotape.

Based on this American reality, I can assume if O.J. had killed his first wife Marguerite, a black woman, the trial would have never attained the same publicity as the recent trial, nor would white people have presumed O.J. guilty.

To white people, if Marguerite had been killed it would have been labeled another "senseless" murder in the black community. When blacks kill blacks, white America does not have a problem. But when blacks kill whites, all hell breaks loose. It's amazing how white people can assume that O.J. was guilty even though there was no videotape, no one saw O.J. do anything, nor was the prosecution's evidence that strong.

But since all black people, black males in particular, are viewed as destructive, irrational, oversexed, culturally deprived people, then it all makes perfect sense. It is no coincidence that O.J. was always depicted as an aggressive, animal-like monster, who loved chasing the white female, while the "beautiful" Nicole Brown Simpson was pictured as an angel. The media hardly ever focused on Nicole's whore-like activity with other men and women.

We may never know who killed Nicole and Ron Goldman, nor do I care. It is sad that the two were killed so tragically, but hundreds of murder cases go on everyday. The trial is over, and everyone who is not personally involved should immediately move on with their lives and get over it. Hundreds of white people still kill black people and don't serve a single day in jail. It clearly shows me that white racism is still alive and well in the United States of Amerikkka.
