
The volleyball team bounded toward its six-game winning streak goal with the fourth win in a row, defeating Stanislaus 3-0 (15-10, 15-13, 16-14) at home last weekend.
The Gators are tied for fourth in the conference at 4-5 and are looking to move their conference record above .500 to finish out the season with wins against Menlo College and Chico State.
Pam Rigor earned NCAC Player of the Week for her efforts, leading the Gators with 54 kills and 44 digs over the last three games.
Rigor is second to teammate Dana Steigerwald in digs, who leads the NCAC with 3.59 digs per game.
Also stepping up for the Gators was Kris Larsen, who recorded two solo blocks and two block assists against Stanislaus to move her season total to 80, fifth in the conference.
Amy Thomas served well for SF State, coming up with three service aces for the Gators. She has served up 47 aces this season, putting her in third place in the NCAC.
The team played Menlo College Wednesday, but results were not available at presstime. Saturday, the Gators will be looking for another win at Chico State to finish the season.
