Undercover units arrive in Palestinian residential areas in local Arab license plates to escape detection. They are not uniformed and often wear disguises such as traditional Arab gowns or Palestinian women's dresses.
The soldiers appear to know exactly where their targeted person is and identify him by face, name or clothing, as, for example when masked youths are the target. The undercover soldiers sometimes are accompanied by local collaborators or Shin Bet officers and are carrying photographs to aid identification.
The units approach their target in the manner of an ambush, with no attempt to warn or arrest. The soldiers begin firing at close range and aim above the waist, usually at the head, without issuing a warning shot, contrary to Israeli standing rules for opening fire. In cases where the victim had not been killed in the first burst of fire and is only wounded and lying on the ground, undercover soldiers have approached and fired again, killing the victim at close range or have beaten the victim to death.
These units are called the Israeli Samson and Cherry Units who go undercover killing Palestinian youth.
When Yitzhak Rabin was the defense minister of Israel during the Palestinian Uprising "Intifada," he was the person who established these units.
The majority of targets were Palestinian youth between the ages of 15 and 18 years old. The things that the youth of Palestine used to do was organize demonstrations against Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza, no weapons involved. Demonstrations by going out to the streets and showing people they want to live through a good childhood and have civil rights.
These are the brutal things that Yitzhak Rabin did during his days of power. The media made a very big mistake by showing he was a peacemaker. He wasn't a peacemaker, he was the murderer of the Palestinian children.
