A SICK SKUNK NEEDS A HOME
-Aug. 9- A person reported seeing a sick skunk in the Student Center. Animal control was called and advised to leave the skunk alone until night fall, when it would probably leave on its own, UPD said.

STOLEN BICYCLE
-Aug. 14- A person reported that her Diamond Back mountain bike, which she had parked near the Main Gym, had been stolen between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

BREAK-IN AT MARY PARK HALL
-Aug. 18- University police, responding to an alarm at Mary Park Hall, arrested a person for the burglary of two rooms in the building.

The suspect was found on the second floor hallway near the burglarized rooms.

MISSIN WOMAN FOUND NEAR SF STATE
-Aug. 22- A women, reported missing and at risk by the Burlingame police, was found on a bus at 19th and Holloway by UPD officers.

The woman, who is suffering from paranoia, was acting strangely and appeared to be intoxicated when police were called.

PURSE SNATCHING
-Aug. 27- A women reported that she was attacked and had her purse stolen by two women as she was walking on Tapia Sunday night.

The two suspects, who the police describe as being medium sized black female adults, fled down Tapia towards Holloway with the victims purse.
