Eleven of our colleagues were recently arrested at the Federal Building in San Francisco for protesting against apartheid.
They are likely to be fined for this infraction at their hearings to be held at the Federal Building, May 21 and 23.
We applaud their action and plan to show our solidarity by contributing money to help pay their fines and legal fees.
We urge faculty and staff to do likewise.
We will make our checks payable, and send them to Oba T'Shaka, Black Studies, or Stan Ofsevit, Social Work.
