Accreditation

Overview

The Journalism Department is one of seven California journalism programs accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC).

ACEJMC requires programs to maintain standards on governance, curriculum, diversity and inclusiveness, student services, faculty, scholarship, service and assessment. For more information on accreditation, check out the ACEJMC Student Center.
